Introduction
Under the name Palatine Books we publish a wide range of different books, including walking books, general interest, such as our new book on the famous Midland Hotel. A typical Palatine Book will be of general interest: not necessarily historical, it might be local interest, humour or biography or sport.
The name Palatine originally came from the county palatine of Lancaster, where the list was first established, although the geographical link with Lancashire is becoming more and more tenuous as our publishing exploits extend further afield.
